Your haiku is too extravagant to my way of thinking!

Thanks varan for leaving your comments.
This is my first haiku so i dont know if i make my intentions clear.
What i am trying to say is

"The sound of your laughter has the same effect on my heart as the rain drop that falls on still water.
the sound of your laughter sinks, ripples, and gets absorbed in my heart for ever :)"

May i know why you feel its extravagent? It will surely help me understand your perspective and I will try to come up with a better one next time.
